Zhafir Plastics Machinery GmbH was established more than 5 years ago and the team in Ebermannsdorf has continued to grow starting with the construction of the manufacturing building over 1.5 years ago and after officially launching the production of the “Mercury Series” last November. At the beginning of April, the management has filled two key positions with a clever mix. Dieter Seifert joined the team from the headquarter Haitian International in Ningbo and in his capacity as director operations he controls operations and the production processes including Quality Management as well as customer service. After graduating college in Esslingen, Constantin Missel has taken over the challenging job of the product manager for the all-electric injection molding machines at Zhafir Plastics Machinery in Ebermannsdorf.
Both new managers will support Steffen Franz, who is the technical director for Zhafir in Germany, taking care of the business at Zhafir‘s German operation and in particular covers responsibility for development, application engineering and sales also. As the managing director of Zhafir Plastics Machinery GmbH, Prof. h.c. Helmar Franz will continue to have full responsibility for the Zhafir Group in addition to his duties as a member of the Board of Directors of Haitian International in Ningbo/China.
Dieter Seifert (54) has more than 30 years of experience in the plastics industry and is acquainted with international quality and service standards. Until the end of March, he managed the quality control of export machines at Haitian International in Ningbo, China and was responsible for the assembly and delivery of approximately 370 machines per month to more than 120 countries worldwide. After more than 7 years in China, he is returning home now. He will take over responsibility for the entire operative area as well as customer service for Zhafir Plastics Machinery in Ebermannsdorf. Together with his team, Dieter Seifert will ensure a high-quality, a smooth process in the assembly and delivery of all Zhafir machines. He will install and execute modern quality systems and will establish an efficient and customer-oriented service. With his comprehensive, technical and organizational know-how, he is perfectly qualified for this field.
At the same time, Constantin Missel (24) will take on the role of the product manager for all-electric injection molding machines at Zhafir in Ebermannsdorf. Constantin Missel studied mechanical engineering focusing on plastics technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen and wrote his thesis while working for one of the largest plastics processors in Europe. As the product manager, he will be the important interface between sales, engineering and marketing. As strategic enhancement to the experienced Mercury development team, he will accompany the “Mercury Series” to its international market debut and will thereby plan and take new innovative paths. Constantin Missel will take over project engineering, will assist customers with technical process questions and will perform application tests at the Zhafir test plant or at customer locations. Of course, this also includes support for the established “Venus Series” at Zhafir in Ebermannsdorf also.
