From September 22 to 24, Haitian International’s Ruma factory in Serbia successfully concluded its Open Day event. The three-day event attracted nearly 900 industry customers, partners, and representatives from across the industry, spanning 30 countries. Together, they witnessed Haitian International’s latest achievements in localized manufacturing in Europe and integrated collaboration across the entire industrial value chain.

As an important manufacturing and service hub for Haitian International in Europe, the Ruma production base in Serbia welcomed guests to explore its assembly lines, spare parts warehouse, and localized supply chain operations. The visit provided an up-close look at how Haitian International is putting its global strategy into practice.

At the Open Day, Haitian International showcased its MA and JU series injection molding machines, along with the Zhafir ZE series, covering key application sectors across Europe, including automotive, consumer goods, packaging, medical, and logistics. Each solution was equipped with a complete automation system, providing a realistic demonstration of production-line conditions in mass manufacturing.

Haitian MA Series showcased three typical application solutions at the event. The MA1600V/570 ECO produced PS bowls with a cycle time of 19.2 seconds, featuring an energy-efficient servo-hydraulic system that helps customers control overall production costs. The MA3800V/2330F PRO, a high-speed model, produced two-cavity PP buckets in just 4.3 seconds, demonstrating the packaging industry’s focus on both speed and precision. The MA1200V/400 produced storage boxes with a cycle time of 32.7 seconds and supports a wide range of materials, including PP, HDPE, and PS-HI ABS. Its flexibility in handling multiple materials and product types provides practical and efficient solutions for the household consumer goods and storage container markets.

The Zhafir ZE Series focused on medical consumables and high-speed packaging applications. The ZE1900V-830h produced 64-cavity PP syringe plungers, with an individual part weight of just 0.34 g and a cycle time of 6 seconds. This highlighted its capabilities in high-precision multi-cavity molding, meeting the local medical consumables industry’s demand for high precision and consistency. The ZE2300VF-830hs produced four-cavity PP IML food container lids, with an individual part weight of 5.6 g and a cycle time of just 2.8 seconds. The solution demonstrated the machine’s advantages in high-speed, low-energy-consumption production for IML applications, aligning with the trend toward automation in the food packaging industry.

The two Haitian JU Series machines on display focused on molding large-sized products. The JU10800V/8950 produced single-cavity PP large logistics containers, with an individual part weight of up to 2,260 g and a cycle time of 108.9 seconds, demonstrating stable molding performance for large logistics products. The JU6500V/4650 produced automotive lighting system components using PC material, with an individual part weight of 429.8 g and a cycle time of 41.6 seconds. With its compact footprint and high clamping force, the machine is well suited to applications such as automotive components and large industrial parts, helping European customers achieve efficient localized production of large-sized products.

Beyond injection molding solutions, the event also showcased products and solutions from other businesses within the Haitian Group. Five CNC machining centers from Haitian Precision and die-casting machines from Haitian Smart Machinery were among the highlights. This multi-industry showcase, brought together at Haitian International’s Serbia factory, enabled customers from around the world to experience Haitian’s one-stop smart manufacturing solutions in a single location.

From August 25 to 28, 2026, the International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition (INTERPLAST 2026) was held at the Expoville Convention and Exhibition Center in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil. As an important event for the plastics and rubber industry in South America, this year’s INTERPLAST brought together numerous industry companies and professional visitors, with a focus on plastics processing, packaging, materials, and related manufacturing technologies.

Haitian International’s booth attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the exhibition. Customers from Brazil and markets across South America engaged in discussions with the Haitian team, exchanging insights on equipment performance, packaging applications, and specific production requirements. At INTERPLAST 2026, Haitian International showcased the Zhafir ZERES ZE3800V-1700h, a solution focused on packaging applications and designed to demonstrate efficient, intelligent production.

Using Braskem PT400NA PP material, the machine produced four thin-wall containers simultaneously, with each container weighing just 9 grams and a molding cycle of only 4.8 seconds, enabling a faster production pace.

For the packaging industry, production is typically characterized by large volumes and fast-paced operations. Every cycle of the machine has a direct impact on overall production efficiency. With high-speed, stable movement and precise dynamic injection, the Zhafir machine delivers consistent and controllable thin-wall injection molding performance, helping maintain reliable production around the clock.

What was demonstrated at the exhibition was more than simply a “4.8-second” cycle time—it was a molding solution tailored to the real-world production demands of the packaging industry.

INTERPLAST 2026 served as an important platform for Haitian International to engage face-to-face with local customers. Kaifeng has long been known for its food culture. Hengrong’s contribution is helping those products stand out with packaging designed to match today’s market. Inside Hengrong’s production facility, 24 Haitian injection molding machines run around the clock, producing a wide range of customized food packaging. „Almost everything we produce is custom-made. “ says Chairman Kong Jian. Instead of relying on the same mold for years, Hengrong refreshes most of its packaging every one to two years to keep pace with changing products and consumer trends.

This commitment to customization means longer development cycles and more complex production, but it also helps customers‘ products stand out on the shelf—even entering leading retail chains such as Pangdonglai. Hengrong’s manufacturing evolution can be traced through something as simple as a label.

The company has continuously upgraded its production process—from unlabelled packaging, to heat transfer printing, and now to in-mold labeling (IML). By integrating the label directly into the molding process, IML reduces manual operations while improving durability, appearance, product consistency and overall production efficiency. „Although the initial investment is higher, the overall cost for our customers is actually lower,“ Kong explains.

Reliable IML production requires exceptional precision, while Haitian’s high-speed injection molding machines deliver the positioning accuracy and repeatability to keep the process stable.

Quality extends beyond the molding process. Hengrong’s new facility features a 4,500 m² clean workshop and works closely with leading mold  manufacturers to maintain high food safety and quality standard.

After comparing several domestic and international brands during product development, the company found Haitian consistently offered the best long-term stability. Today, Hengrong operates 24 Haitian injection molding machines ranging from 200 to 460 tons, including the latest thin-wall solution introduced during the expansion of its new production facility. According to Kong, the first batch of Haitian machines has been running reliably for six to seven years, while their energy efficiency continues to deliver measurable operating savings.
