From April 20 to 26, Haitian will host a new Open Week format connecting Ningbo, Shanghai and Suzhou under the theme “Level Up! Your Advantage.” For the first time, the program brings together three key touchpoints in one coordinated event: Haitian’s headquarters and manufacturing base in Ningbo, the Haitian booth at Chinaplas 2026 in Shanghai, and the Haitian Medical Application Technology Center in Suzhou.

By combining manufacturing, exhibition and application expertise, Haitian offers customers a broader view of how equipment, digital technologies and cross-divisional synergies work together in practice. The three-city format is designed to show how Haitian creates value not only through machines, but through integrated solutions built around productivity, quality and application know-how.

Ningbo: Manufacturing strength and application capability

In Ningbo, visitors will experience Haitian’s manufacturing strength at the source. The Open Week will provide large-scale access to the new Haitian Machinery Smart Factory, the newly operational Haitian Machinery Global Application Experience Center and additional core manufacturing areas. With a total production footprint of around one million square meters, the the tour in Ningbo plants highlights Haitian’s strengths in large-scale production, intelligent manufacturing, application development and industrial collaboration.

A major highlight in Ningbo will be the official opening of the Haitian Machinery Global Application Experience Center. Created as a platform for the global market, it is designed to support technical exchange and application-focused solution development across industries, processes and production scenarios. During the event, Haitian will also present more than 60 application scenarios, covering advanced molding technologies, AI-enabled and intelligent technologies, and industrial talent development.

Shanghai: From Machines to Systems at Chinaplas 2026

In parallel, Haitian’s presentation at Chinaplas in Shanghai focuses on market-oriented solutions and industry-specific applications.  Across an exhibition space of 800 square meters, the group integrates its core divisions, including injection molding machines, drive systems and smart automation solutions. The focus is on industries such as home appliance, automotive and consumer goods, where tailored processing solutions are required. A key highlight will be the world premiere of the MA2500V/1000 Ultra, further expanding Haitian’s fifth-generation platform. Together with drive systems, automation and digital technologies, the exhibit will underline Haitian’s continued development from machine supplier to provider of integrated production solutions.

Suzhou: Dedicated expertise for medical manufacturing

In Suzhou, the focus will shift to one of the industry’s most demanding sectors: medical manufacturing. At the Haitian Medical Application Technology Center, visitors will see more than 10 customized precision clean molding technologies developed specifically for medical applications. The center demonstrates Haitian’s capabilities in medical application development, process validation and specialized molding solutions for customers with high requirements in cleanliness, stability, precision and consistency.

Together, the three locations create a connected picture of Haitian’s capabilities across the full value chain. Ningbo represents manufacturing depth and application infrastructure. On October 8, the world’s leading plastics exhibition — K 2025 International Plastics and Rubber Trade Fair — kicked off in Düsseldorf, Germany. Under the theme “Level Up! Your Advantage”, Haitian International made a grand appearance at Hall 15, Booth A57, showcasing its comprehensive “Injection Molding +” solutions. With multidimensional technological innovations, Haitian empowers customers worldwide to achieve all-round value enhancement.

On the opening day, the Haitian International booth welcomed a continuous stream of professional visitors and technical experts, engaging in lively face-to-face discussions with Haitian’s team on process details. Haitian engineers, professional and attentive, moved between machines explaining key parameters and turning technical data into service commitments, allowing visitors to experience the powerful rhythm of intelligent manufacturing in real operation.

At this year’s exhibition, Haitian International focused on four key industries — packaging, medical, automotive, and optical — presenting five intelligently designed application scenarios. Through multidimensional displays of production efficiency, flexible integration, digital intelligence, and industry expansion, the company guided visitors into a new vision of smart manufacturing.

Stepping into the booth, the two world premiere packaging models — Zhafir Zeres F all-electric packaging machine and Haitian Mars F PRO servo-hydraulic high-speed machine — immediately became the highlight of the show. With their exceptional performance, they drew crowds of visitors who witnessed the technological innovation and performance leap in the packaging industry.

The Zhafir Zeres Series medical injection molding solution for COC syringe barrels showcased full-process traceability, highlighting the cleanliness and precision demanded by the medical industry and drawing strong interest from professionals exploring collaboration opportunities. Meanwhile, the Haitian Jupiter two-platen machine’s “one-step molding” technology for automotive exterior parts also became a major highlight of the show, earning high praise from visitors for its outstanding performance in improving production efficiency and product consistency.

At the same time, Niigata’s all-electric vertical injection molding machine made its debut at the show, presenting a new solution for optical insert molding. The exhibit opened up new possibilities for high-precision molding and drew strong attention from industry professionals, who watched closely and nodded in appreciation.

In addition, high-precision CNC machines and integrated automation solutions from Haitian Precision and Haitian Smart Solutions were also showcased, presenting a comprehensive “Injection Molding +” system solution. It’s an impressive success story: three plastics processing companies in France, each a pioneer and reliable partner to the healthcare industry, have built up an excellent reputation over decades. Competent, innovative and efficient in the development and production of medical subcomponents and disposables for the pharmaceutical industry. Four years ago they formed the SGH Healthcaring Group: STI Plastics, ROVIPHARM and ESKISS Packaging.

The SGH Healthcaring Group portfolio includes product solutions in four main areas: Dosing (dosing syringes, measuring cups, measuring spoons, single doses, pipettes, pill dispensers), Respiratory (spacers, nasal aspirators), Diagnostics and Preanalytics (transport of biological samples). Monsieur Empereur, SGH Healthcaring is the result of the merger of three companies that have built a strong reputation over 30 years. What are the benefits to each company from this alliance?

“SGH Healthcaring was founded on the recognition that unity is a source of strength and that multisite production ensures security of supply. All of our customers are very large, the famous “big pharma.” Most of our suppliers are also big, especially in raw material. So if we want to be competitive and remain attractive, we also need to get bigger. SGH is our project to become one of the leading players in Europe in the field of medical plastic products. However, further acquisitions are currently on hold, thanks to very dynamic organic growth.”

In June 2020, you bought the first Zhafir machines. That was in the first wave of the pandemic. Wasn’t it very brave to introduce a new machine series in such hectic times?

“We have known Haitian International for some time and have some colleagues and competitors equipped with these machines and we have received good feedback. Based on a very good offer from the French Haitian representative, we decided to test a few machines in our three plants.”

The current political situation puts the energy issue in a new, critical position. What has been the importance of energy costs in your company so far, and what measures are you discussing to cushion further cost increases?

“You are right, energy is becoming a big issue and is one of the most important components of our costs. Although we save energy quite efficiently with modern equipment and machinery, we will initiate some research to save more energy. For example, with electric machine concepts. Nevertheless, we need to make some price increases at this time if we want to keep our profit margin and save our business model.”

How many injection molding machines are therein the group in total?

“Currently it more than 80 machines, of which 13 are now Zhafir Zeres series electric machines, with 40 to 360 tons. Most of them are equipped with a medical package and produce at Rovipharm in a clean room. All machines are fully automated.”

Your website says, “SGH Healthcaring is targeting sales of EUR 100 million to achieve the critical mass sought by our laboratory customers and to manage the structural costs associated with regulatory requirements.” Can you elaborate?

“I attach great importance to compliance with laws, regulations and general ethical principles. We believe that such a corporate culture is essential: we must be able to guarantee that we always act with integrity. We will therefore increase our sales – while at the same time demonstrating the clear will of the organization to incorporate social and environmental considerations into its decisions. But we will also consider the impact of its decisions and activities on society and the environment.”
