Inside the factory, hundreds of injection molding machines run in orderly rows. Every year, billions of tiny plastic pieces leave this production line, eventually becoming castles, spacecraft, and dinosaurs in children’s hands.

The story behind this massive and highly reliable production system traces back to 2017, when Golds was founded, and when it first partnered with Zhafir.

When Golds was established in 2017, its mission was clear: to become a production service partner for leading toy brands. Therefore, every detail—dimensional tolerance, parting line, and shrinkage rate—must be controlled at the micron level, ensuring that any two blocks can snap together seamlessly. This level of precision must be maintained over hundreds of millions of production cycles.

Zhafir machines play a vital role in achieving this consistency. Servo-driven systems minimize transmission delay and fluctuation, allowing machines to reach stable operation quickly. Combined with precise injection control, stable clamping systems, and fast cycle performance, they ensure reliable, repeatable production, supporting Golds’ output of billions of components each year. 

The all-electric design also eliminates hydraulic oil, reducing contamination risks and helping maintain the high cleanliness standards required for toy manufacturing.

As smart manufacturing reshapes the industry, Golds has actively built an automated production ecosystem. A dedicated building block solution from Haitian Smart Solutions compresses in-mold actions to 0.82 seconds, enabling stable performance even in high-frequency production cycles. Robotic systems work seamlessly with Zhafir injection molding machines, forming a synchronized production loop: Precise molding → Precise part removal → Precise cycle timing.

With its open architecture and intelligent capabilities, Zhafir equipment integrates smoothly into Golds’ smart factory environment. Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Felix Choi, CEO of Hongrita, to hear firsthand how this manufacturing leader approaches choice, evolution, and the future.

At Hongrita’s Zhongshan plant, more than 300 Zhafir all-electric injection molding machines operate reliably day and night. Hongrita sets uncompromising standards: micron-level precision must remain consistent over time and across tens of millions of cycles.

In 2016, when the first second-generation Zhafir all-electric injection molding machine was introduced, the challenge was clear—not just to produce qualified parts, but to keep deviations within micron-level limits over millions of cycles. In recent years, the partnership has reached a new milestone with the joint exploration of CUBE mold technology. “We’ve already received our first customer order,” Mr. Choi noted. From second-generation machines to breakthroughs in cube molding, the relationship has evolved from equipment supply into a collaborative R&D partnership, responding to new market demands and bringing advanced mold concepts into mass production.

Connecting machines into a production line is only the beginning. Hongrita began its digital and intelligent transformation early, guided by a clear goal: replace experience-based judgment with data-driven certainty.

“We need more accurate data for analysis, which is why we fully adopted all-electric machines,” said Mr. Choi. In an environment of intense competition on cost and efficiency, optimization must be rooted in real production data. The comprehensive adoption of Zhafir all-electric machines became the cornerstone. With advantages in energy efficiency and precision control, combined with open data interfaces, Zhafir enables every machine’s operating status, process parameters, and energy consumption to become transparent and traceable. As a result, machines are no longer just producing parts, but also producing insight.

This data-driven approach has also turned green intelligent manufacturing from a concept into action. With real-time data, Hongrita has carried out systematic energy-saving upgrades across water, electricity, gas, and HVAC systems, achieving both economic and environmental gains. Today, Hongrita has earned authoritative Industry 4.0 Maturity Level 2i certification, with Zhafir playing a critical role behind the scenes.

Nearly a decade and 300 Zhafir machines—more than scale, they reflect a journey of choice, trust, and shared progress. From equipment collaboration to technology development and digital transformation, Zhafir has grown alongside Hongrita in modern manufacturing.

Recently, we visited Zhongsichuang to see how aesthetic ideas are transformed into precise manufacturing results.

Within a 25,000-square-meter modern facility, more than 100 injection molding machines run continuously, supported by over 3,000 mold sets ready for production. In cosmetic packaging, transparency signals premium quality, and it also demands extreme process stability. Chairman Xie Rusheng demonstrated this with a clear powder compact weighing 70 grams, featuring a 10 mm wall thickness and a five-minute molding cycle, placing high demands on machine consistency over long cycles.

“With Zhafir all-electric injection molding machines, the products maintain stable pressure, speed, and temperature throughout the process.” This minimizes shrinkage in thick-wall parts and delivers a yield rate above 96%, making flawless transparency achievable at scale.

On July 9, Haitian Indonesia officially opened its Semarang Application Center. Over 50 key local customers and partners gathered to witness this milestone in strengthening regional technical service capabilities.

The newly launched Semarang Application Center integrates mold testing services, a high-turnover spare parts inventory, and ready-stock injection molding machines—offering customers a one-stop solution for immediate testing, verification, and delivery. As a key initiative in Haitian’s Southeast Asia strategy, the center aims to energize Indonesia’s plastics industry with fast response and full lifecycle support.

At the opening event, two flagship machines became the center of attention. The Haitian MA3800H/PRO demonstrated the efficient production of takeaway containers, earning high praise for its stable injection performance and energy-saving design. Meanwhile, the MA1600GII showcased its precision and operational excellence through a dry cycle display. Guests were drawn to the live demonstrations, many stopping to watch and capture the moment with photos.

At the event, Mr. Tao, General Manager of Haitian Indonesia, delivered a speech outlining the company’s development strategy for the Indonesian market. He emphasized that the Semarang Application Center will serve as a key link in leveraging Haitian’s strengths in technology, service, and innovation. With a more professional approach and faster response capabilities, Haitian Indonesia aims to become a vital bridge—connecting with customers, serving the market, and continuously creating value for the local plastics manufacturing industry.

Following that, Mr. Luo Jun, Manager of the Semarang Center, reviewed the development journey of the service site and highlighted the current team’s strengths. The center is now equipped with a professional technical support team and a high-turnover spare parts inventory. It also offers a three-year free maintenance policy for injection molding machines and a two-year free parts replacement policy. In addition, the center will provide customers with professional training in equipment maintenance, servicing, and process optimization.

After the opening ceremony, the Haitian Indonesia team engaged in in-depth discussions with customers on market trends, industry needs, and process optimization. The launch of the Semarang Application Center marks a further step in strengthening Haitian’s localized service network in Indonesia. After a year of use and precise testing, Yang Moulu from Blue Sky told us, “For a chair weighing 1,300 grams, it used to take 66 seconds to produce with a third-generation machine, but the JU fifth-generation machine can achieve a production cycle of about45 seconds.” 

This reduction of 21 seconds significantly improves production efficiency, showcasing the fifth-generation injection molding machine’s precise control over time costs and extreme pursuit, bringing substantial benefits to Blue Sky.

Equally impressive is the excellent energy-saving performance of Haitian’s fifth-generation injection molding machines. With the same screw and clamping force tonnage, strict energy consumption comparison tests show that the fifth-generation machines are 24% more energy-efficient than the third-generation machines. This figure is not only a leap in technology but also a responsibility and contribution to the environment.

Additionally, this motor design provides strong support for producing thick-walled optical products.
